Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- pinch of salt
- cheddar cheese, grated (I prefer a block grated by hand)
- caramelized onions
- thick bread (I use sourdough)
Preparation:
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and salt.
- Spread the butter on both sides of the bread.
- Top one slice of bread with some caramelized onions and cheese.
- Top with the other piece of bread and place on a pan over low heat until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Cut in half & enjoy!
