Ingredients:

  • 1 package ramen (I used soy sauce flavor)

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 green onions, sliced diagonally

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 fried egg, optional

  • Chili flakes, for topping

Preparation:

  1. In a small pot, bring water to a boil and add the ramen noodles. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until soft. Drain and set aside.

  2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add minced garlic and cook, stirring until just toasted. About 1-2 minutes. Careful not to burn, garlic toasts fast!

  4. Add the sliced green onions and cook stirring until soft. About 1 minute.

  5. Remove from the heat, add in the noodles, and stir to coat in garlic butter.

  6. In a small bowl mix the soy sauce seasoning packet and sesame oil until smooth.

  7. Add the seasoning paste to the noodles and stir to coat.

  8. Place noodles in bowl, top with a fried egg and chili flakes.

  9. Enjoy!
