Ingredients:
- 1 package ramen (I used soy sauce flavor)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced diagonally
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 fried egg, optional
- Chili flakes, for topping
Preparation:
- In a small pot, bring water to a boil and add the ramen noodles. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook, stirring until just toasted. About 1-2 minutes. Careful not to burn, garlic toasts fast!
- Add the sliced green onions and cook stirring until soft. About 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat, add in the noodles, and stir to coat in garlic butter.
- In a small bowl mix the soy sauce seasoning packet and sesame oil until smooth.
- Add the seasoning paste to the noodles and stir to coat.
- Place noodles in bowl, top with a fried egg and chili flakes.
- Enjoy!
