Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- sprinkles, optional

Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350º F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar with a hand or standing mixer, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary (about 2 minutes).
- Add in the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts. Beat until combined.
- Add in the flour and salt and mix on low until the dough comes together. Increase the speed until all of the dough comes together.
- Transfer the mixture into the cookie press with a plate and form the cookie shapes (if you don’t have a cookie press you can also make very small dough rounds (flatten a little before baking).
- Top the cookies with sprinkles if using and bake for 7-8 minutes, they should be very light in color.
